  2. 2015 PAG Workshop (San Diego, CA, USA)- January 12, 2015: Arabidopsis Information Portal & International Arabidopsis Informatics Consortium workshop organized by Blake Meyerrs and Chris Town presented the development of a stable data and resources repository for Arabidopsis bioinformatics and how it will be connected with a broad array of community-generated modules and associated data
  3. AIP Developer Workshop (Austin, Texas, USA)- November, 2014. TACC, JCVI, and Cambridge University hosted a developer workshop oriented toward Arabidopsis researchers and students. “[The] key goal with this workshop was to onboard a group of developers with varying degrees of experience with web technologies to contribute web apps and APIs to our platform,” said TACC Life Sciences Computing Director Matthew Vaughn, co-PI of the project.The workshop was funded through support by the US National Science Foundation (NSF).

  8. 2012 ICAR Workshop (Vienna):
    (1) July 3, 2012: Arabidopsis Bioinformatics: A Model for Other Organisms Workshop. This workshop included presentations on: the current status of the transition from TAIR, the group developing an AIP proposal, and several ‘module’ prototypes that will demonstrate how the international community can link into the AIP.
    (2) Platform talk by Blake Meyers, IAIC Interim Director, ‘Responding to the Community- the International Arabidopsis Informatics Consortium and Development of the Arabidopsis Information Portal.’
